The Full Experience
Planning to See a Show? Here’s How to Make Your Visit Even More Memorable
Whether you’re planning a memorable date night, looking for a day full of arts and culture or just trying to get to know Dallas better, the Center is the best place to anchor an itinerary.
The Dallas Arts District
Our neighborhood: a playground for patrons of the arts
The Dallas Arts District is the largest contiguous urban arts district in the nation, with more buildings designed by Pritzker-winning architects than anywhere else. We’re proud that our 10-acre campus is the gateway to acres and acres of imagination and community.
On our campus and the neighboring city streets, you’ll find some of the finest performance venues and arts collections in the world, top-notch restaurants and bars, inviting outdoor parks for family time or quiet reflection, premier hotels and more.
Dining
Whether you’re looking for a bite to eat before, during or after your show, the Center and the surrounding neighborhood are bustling with options. From quick bites and convenient meals to fine dining and cocktails just a stroll from your seats, you’ll find the perfect pairing for your visit downtown.
Check out our on-campus dining options or a list of our preferred restaurants within walking distance.

Step into the vibrant world of the performing arts through our First Saturday Tours, held at 10 and 11 a.m. on the first Saturday of every month. This 45-minute journey offers an exclusive glimpse into the heart of creativity, starting in the Winspear Opera House.
