Poppy Xander | “As We Walk Upon The Earth”

Poppy Xander is a keyboardist, singer-songwriter, and vocalist based in Dallas, Texas, known for classical pop songwriting, eccentric costumes, vulnerable storytelling, and lively performances.

Xander currently plays in over eight projects including The Polyphonic Spree, performing on the entirety of their 2020 covers EP, We Hope it Finds You Well. Xander was named 2018 Best Keyboard player by Dallas Observer and Central Track, was awarded Best Live Act for their band Helium Queens, and Best Tribute Act for Primadonna, The Elite Madonna Tribute.

The Dallas Office of Arts and Culture awarded Xander an Arts Activate Grant to produce Helium Queens: A Space Opera, taking place August 2021, at Arstillery in West Dallas. Xander resides in Dallas and has continued working through the pandemic by freelancing private voice and piano lessons as well as teaching English classes at a private high school while also continuing to develop a new body of musical work through a patronage website that can be visited at www.patreon.com/poppyxander.
