AT&T Performing Arts Center Put the “Turn Up” in Turn Up The Lights 2022

This past Saturday, October 15, 2022, the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Auxiliary Board hosted its 2nd Annual Turn Up The Lights Fundraiser presented by Wild Turkey®. This event was specifically catered to the future generation of arts patrons, with a dynamic, upscale night out in the Dallas Arts District. The event was also supported by the Eugene McDermott Foundation, long-time supporters of the Center and the arts.

The event was held on the AT&T PAC campus, starting in Sammons Park where guests enjoyed music by DJ Naturalhiiigh and were treated to a special performance by Bandan Koro African Drum and Dance Ensemble right in the Center’s Donor Pool. The party continued in Annette Strauss Square where presenting sponsor, Wild Turkey® created an outdoor speakeasy space where guests enjoyed Wild Turkey cocktails. There were additional performances from vocalist Brad Ackland and big band performers Aurora Bleu. The night ended with a high-energy performance by one of Dallas’ top party bands, Signed, Sealed, Delivered. Guests danced the night away all in support of the Center’s mission.

Throughout the evening, there were photo moments presented by Motusbooth and the Center’s concessionaire, G Texas, catered the event including specialty Wild Turkey® cocktails.

This year’s Turn Up The Lights raised a total of $74,000 to benefit the Center, a 20% increase from the 2021 event. The funds will be used to support the Center’s mission: to provide a public gathering place that strengthens community and fosters creativity through the presentation of performing arts and arts education programs.
