AT&T Performing Arts Center Celebrates First 90 Days

Nearly 100,000 Attend 200+ Events and Performances in First Three Months of Operation

DALLAS (February 10, 2010) – In the 90 short days since its grand opening in October 2009, the AT&T Performing Arts Center has become an essential component of Dallas’ downtown Arts District. The AT&T PAC has welcomed more than 93,000 patrons to 212 performances and events, with visitors coming from across North Texas, from every state in the nation, and from as far away as Fairbanks, London and Blaxland, Australia. The Center’s early success is attributable to its dynamic mix of performances and events, from Shakespeare and musicals in the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, to a world premiere opera, Billy Crystal, and jazz greats in the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House.
